Our Mission 

To support the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) initiative to "advance the profession" of human resources, particularly in Pennsylvania counties by improving the professional development of county human resource personnel and enhancing the services available to county human resource personnel.

Our Goals and Objectives
  • To be the primary source for information and services for Pennsylvania county human resource personnel

  • To provide industry leading conferences, training and resources for Pennsylvania county human resource personnel

  • To provide legislative advocacy on human resource and employment related policy

  • To follow the standards of a chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)*


*SCHRPP is not a chapter of SHRM. SCHRPP's membership structure differs from the requirements for a SHRM chapter; however, in an effort to support and promote SHRM, SCHRPP's bylaws model those required for a SHRM chapter.
